Modules

Mango's functionality is extended through installable modules. This section documents administration-related modules that affect how Mango connects to external services, stores time-series data, and tracks configuration changes.

  • Mango Cloud Connect Module -- Secure remote access to Mango installations behind firewalls using SSH tunneling, without opening ports or VPN software.
  • Platform Manager -- Multi-site monitoring module for organizing Sites, Device Types, and Devices into a three-level portfolio view with dashboards, KPIs, maps, and device details — all configurable without custom code.
  • TSL Module Configuration -- The Time-Series Library module for storing point value data in external databases such as ClickHouse or TimescaleDB, with support for pre-aggregation and configurable retention policies.
  • Updating the Mango Store Path -- Instructions for updating the store URL in the mango.properties file after the Mango rebranding.
  • Audit Trail -- Viewing, filtering, and restoring configuration changes recorded in the system audit trail.
